Item I                    Call To Order

  • The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Linda Cunningham. At 7:05 P.M.
  • Minutes of the November 15th meeting were approved as written.

Item II                   Web Site Status/Issues

  • Dave gave up an update on the website.
  • Please send in more pictures to post.
  • Increased to 10 pages
  • ‘PayPal’ link added for on-line donations
  • Procedure to purchase ‘Memorial Plaques’ added to ‘Merchandise’ page
  • Checklist on how to best help lost/found animals in Morgan Hill needed
  • Coordinator for lost/found animals and posting on all Internet sites (web, Yahoo!, e-mail) for maximum exposure

Item III                 Treasurers Report

  • Treasurers welcome to Nancy Smereski, a discussion ensued as to what Nancy needs from us to go forward.
  • Treasure requested that a more detailed budget for FY2012 be established.

 Action item – Treasure and President to meet at bank to ensure signature card is valid and order dual signature checks.

  • By-Laws were not distributed.  President will e-mail the current version of the By-Laws to current Board members for review, comment and potential revision.
  • Re-payment of Webmaster for costs incurred to expand website was voted on and passed.
  • Re-payment of Co-Chair for parting gift for Evonne voted on and passed.

Item IV            Open Discussion

  • Bulletin Board - Chris transferred everything to Lance to complete.
  • It   was suggested that we should only have one or two Main events a year so they are well attended.

-          Sarah’s Vineyard –Kris leading this event

-          Yap Lap & Dine- Chris leading this event schedule will be sent soon

-          Meet and Greet Meetings/Open Meetings – Latter weeks in March, June & Sept.

-          Photo Day Fund Raiser  - Janice taking the lead

  • Board Meetings this year every 2 months. Jan 18th, March 21, May 16, July 18, Sept 19, Nov 14, Jan etc. TBD
  • May add another wine tasting event to calendar for May.  Janis and Linda to visit winery.
  • Shade structure – Linda will contact Reed
    • Outside gate is not working looking into that
    • Donation cans at pet stores, dog groomers etc. Nancy is lead.

Item V                  Next Board of Directors Meeting

 

The next Board of Directors Meeting will be on March 21st Janis and Lances house pizza at 6:00 meeting at 7:00 P.M.
