Park Location

Off Leash Dog Park at Morgan Hill Community Park on Edmundson Avenue. (located at the southern corner, bordering Edmundson Ave.) Edmundson is the extention of Tennant Ave. after it crosses Monterey Rd. The driveway entrance is shared with the Centennial Recreation Center.

The Community Park location has many benefits. The existing grass, trees, tables, irrigation, parking were already in place. Many modifications were needed to be made to the irrigation system to water the turf as well as the addition of a fresh water line for drinking fountains. The most basic needs was a LOT of fencing, a few sets of double gates not only for dogs & owners, but also for tractors for mowing. Alot of cemented areas were needed, especially at each entrance and around the water fountains, drainage, human benches, a bulletin board area, pooper scoopers & bags, garbage cans. MHDOG would still like to add possibly a few shade structures in the tree-less areas. We know that our fundraising will be an on-going process in order to pay for the maintenance and water. WE ARE A TAX-EXEMPT NON PROFIT GROUP, so all donations are a write off and are greatly appreciated!
